OJSC «Plant «Optic» grows potassium-yttrium tungstate single crystals, doped with ytterbium ions, α-KY (WO4) 2-Yb3 +. Single crystals KYW:Yb are used in lasers to generate ultrashort pulses and are a unique laser material.
The crystals are grown according to technical requirements of the customer.
